Ally, a digital financial services company, was founded on the principle of being an ally to its employees, customers and communities. For more than a decade, Ally has championed financial and social inclusion as an integral part of its culture and key driver of its business success. As Ally builds next-generation financial solutions, it recognizes that innovation fueled by diversity leads to better products and breakthroughs.

In summer 2021, Ally rolled out Fintropolis, an innovated financial education program, fueled by diversity. Fintropolis, the first full-featured world within the blockbuster, Minecraft, teaches financial concepts such as credit, debt, taxes, savings and investing through play. The idea was the brainchild of four students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) who competed in Ally's Moguls in the Making (https://www.ally.com/go/moguls/) business competition and won summer internships at the company. During their internship, the four were asked to develop a fun way to teach middle schoolers about money. Their research and creative concepting led to Fintropolis, which has the power to impact millions of Minecrafter users. Free for consumers and educators, Fintropolis for Minecraft has been downloaded over 3.3M times since August 2021.
