What to Expect | Compliance School - Advanced

Which school level is right for me?

  • Foundational
    • Compliance Professionals brand new to 5 years into their career or those that are interested in expanding or polishing existing experience.
    • Individuals seeking to achieve ABA’s Certified CRCM credit.
    • The two levels build off each other and it is encouraged, but not required, that you attend both.
  • Intermediate
    • Compliance Professionals interested in expanding their knowledge by diving deep into topics and current issues.
    • Individuals seeking to achieve ABA’s CRCM credit.
  • Advanced
    • Compliance Professionals interested in expanding their knowledge by diving deep into advanced topics and current issues. 
    • Individuals seeking to achieve ABA’s CRCM credit

I am attending in person (Advanced). What can I expect?

Prior to the school

  • Book your hotel reservation and make travel plans.
  • View the updated schedule on www.aba.com/cs
  • Download and enroll in the mobile app (instructions to be provided).
  • Attend the virtual Advanced School orientation session on Monday, October 20, 2025.

It’s class day. What can I expect?

  • Registration will be open at 7:00 am. Come to the Garden Overlook to pick up your name badge and register.
  • Materials will be handed out for each school. Be sure to plan for room in your suitcase to bring these student notebooks home.

Network with your fellow attendees, the faculty and board. Ask questions and make this class your own. Remember, you get what you put in!

  • Breaks will be given throughout the day.

Class is over. Now what?

  • Congratulate yourself on a job well done.
  • Don’t forget to continue to make connections with classmates, faculty and board.
  • Pick up your certificate of completion on the last day to take home with you!

I am attending virtually (Foundational). What can I expect? 
Prior to the school: 

  • Complete mandatory pre-work assignments. You will be automatically enrolled eight weeks prior to the start of the school. 
  • Submit your address to ABA when requested. Your materials will be mailed to you prior to the start of school. 
  • View the updated schedule on www.aba.com/cs.  
  • Ensure you have access to Zoom and the ABA Schools Platform.  
  • Attend the virtual school orientation session on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.  

It’s class day. What can I expect? 

  • You will need to log into the ABA Schools Platform. Login information will be sent to your email. 
  • 10 minutes prior to the session start time, a “join” button will appear. Click the button to launch your ZOOM application. 
  • All sessions will be live and you will be able to interact with faculty and your classmates. 
  • Sessions will be recorded and available to replay 48 hours after they are presented. You will have recording access until January 15, 2026. 
  • All sessions are in Eastern time.  

Class is over. Now what?

  • Congratulate yourself on a job well done.  
  • Don’t forget to continue to make connections with classmates, faculty and board. 
  • Access any classes you’d like to revisit or missed until January 15, 2026. 
  • Pull your certificate of completion
