ABA’s scam prevention campaign, #BanksNeverAskThat, is returning this fall with new social media posts and videos, digital graphics and more—designed to help bankers and consumers recognize the signs of scams and take action to prevent fraud.

Registration opens in August

#PracticeSafeChecks will also return, providing banks with resources to educate customers—including small business owners—on check fraud and safe check use.

While you’re waiting for exciting new campaign updates, keep up your fight against fraud! If you registered last year, you still have access to the free toolkit full of plug-and-play materials until August — when 2026 registration opens and the all-new toolkit is released.
