Terms and Conditions

By accessing and participating in the ABA Fraud Contact Directory, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

• You must provide at least one point of contact for your financial institution to access the American Bankers Association (ABA) Fraud Contact Directory (Directory).
• The contacts in this Directory are strictly for use by participating institutions and should NOT be given to customers. Such sharing violates the terms of use and may result in loss of access to the Directory.
• You will notify ABA if any contact information is out of date. After ABA communicates receipt of your outdated contact alert, you will have one week to update your contact before it is removed. If all your contacts in the Directory are out of date, your access to the directory will be blocked.
• By adding or editing contacts, you agree you have authorization to share the contact’s information.
• Participation in and use of the Directory is voluntary and does not constitute any obligation by a participant to share or respond to any inquires received. Each participating institution is solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and ongoing maintenance of the information it provides, including timely updates to any changes in designated contacts.
• Participation in and use of the Directory is voluntary and does not constitute any obligation by a participant to share or respond to any inquires received. All contact information contained in the Directory is submitted by the identified financial institution and/or its authorized representatives. Each participating institution is solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and ongoing maintenance of the information it provides, including timely updates to any changes in designated contacts.
• Failure to provide required contact information, maintain current and accurate information, or respond appropriately to inquiries may result in removal of the institution’s contact information and/or suspension or termination of access to the Directory.
• The ABA does not verify the accuracy or completeness of submitted information. ABA disclaims any responsibility or liability for incorrect, outdated, incomplete, or unresponsive contact information, response times, claim handling, or any communications, disputes, or outcomes arising from use of the Directory.
• All communications between participating institutions, and any resulting claims, actions, disputes, resolutions, or outcomes arising from use of the Directory, are solely the responsibility of the participating institutions. The ABA does not participate in, oversee, mediate, or assume liability for any such communications or transactions.
• Continued use of the Directory constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms, as they may be updated from time to time.
