Imposter scams often begin with a call, text message, or email.  Scammers typically pretend to be someone you trust - often government agents, businesses, or loved ones to convince you to send them money or share your personal information.

Introducing the EJCC's Never Ever Campaign

The Never Ever Campaign is a national public awareness initiative led by the Elder Justice Coordinating Council (EJCC). It equips organizations with free, consumer-ready materials to help the public identify and avoid imposter scams. It includes consumer-ready messaging for newsletters, blogs, social media, radio, video, graphics, infographics, and an optional metrics spreadsheet to help track outreach.

The campaign launches on World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, June 15, 2026.

Please direct questions about the campaign or toolkit to the Federal Trade Commission by contacting Kira Krown ([email protected]) or Gema de las Heras ([email protected]).
