The Kish for the Cure campaign is an annual employee-led fundraising effort that supports three cancer-related nonprofit organizations in the Central Pennsylvania region: the Bob Perks Cancer Assistance Fund, Pennsylvania Pink Zone, and Relay For Life of Mifflin/Juniata. The enormous success of the campaign is driven solely by Kish employees, who dedicate hours of their personal and work time over the three-week campaign to raise funds in a number of creative, innovative ways.

The central piece of the Kish for the Cure campaign is an online auction/sale (with all items donated or solicited by Kish employees and executives), which employees, family and friends, Kish customers, and the public can take part in. Other aspects of the campaign include online and in-person donation collection, Denim Days to raise funds, and promotional materials such as in-branch print materials, digital signage, social media, website, email, and themed branch decorations. Kish employees also embrace the challenge of individual and team competitions, with each branch/office team competing to raise the highest average amount per person to win the annual title and trophy, and individual employees pushing to achieve fundraising goals to receive prizes of Paid Time Off. Kish awards a full day of Personal Paid Time Off on a mid-week day to all employees who raise $250 or more, a Monday or Friday to all employees who raise $500 or more, and two full days to the single individual who raises the most money.

With a fundraising goal of $40,000 for the 2022 Kish for the Cure Campaign, the end results were beyond all expectations as Kish employees raised a grand total of $74,000 for the three beneficiary nonprofits, making an amazing impact on the fight against cancer in our communities.
