  • Asset Size: Medium

Financial education continues to be a cornerstone of Comerica's efforts in helping support stronger communities. Each year, we’re pleased to serve students, adults and business owners by providing opportunities for financial education.

In 2018, we launched the Comerica Money program across all our markets (Texas, Michigan, California, Arizona and Florida) to help deliver a comprehensive financial education curriculum to students and adults with a primary focus on low- to moderate-income (LMI) communities. We partner with schools, nonprofits, religious institutions and governmental agencies to empower individuals and communities with the essential skills needed to make sound financial decisions.

We expanded the Comerica financial education program in 2019 to include Money , Business , Education , Sport and Elder . The Comerica program focuses on money, business, education of youth and elders and student athletes to increase financial knowledge and capacity in LMI/under resourced communities throughout our footprint.

Our program covers a wide range of topics: homeownership, debt management, identity theft, credit scores and reports, retirement, banking basics, budgeting, mortgages, mobile banking, workforce development skills, access to capital, stock investments, banking services, and numerous other topics. Our Comerica program topics are delivered for free and in multiple languages including Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Chinese and Arabic.
