Agricultural Development/Enhancement

Agriculture is the backbone of Montana’s economy and Bank of the Rockies is proud of its agricultural roots dating back to 1883. Today, the Bank continues to grow and cultivate the industry via its Agricultural Development and Enhancement Program. The program pays homage and tribute to the historical roots of agriculture and the Bank while simultaneously embracing and advancing new and innovative techniques. The program affords participants the opportunity to expand their knowledge base, learn and embrace new conservation techniques, and offers both financial and educational resources and outreach efforts to both begin and increase their agricultural production. Agricultural team members are dedicated to advancing technology, conservation, and ag production throughout the state of Montana through outreach, education, financial support, and forging mutually beneficial partnerships with numerous agencies. The program serves to assist new agricultural producers establish and expand their production, thereby ensuring long-term and multi-generational stewardship of the land, sustainability, and responsible practices in both agriculture and banking practices.
