Facilitated Online Training FAQs

What to Expect

Facilitated online courses provide an opportunity to meet your learning goals with the benefit of a classroom, but in an online environment.

  • Peer interaction in the learning community with the instructor and other students keeps you actively engaged and motivated
  • Experienced industry professionals provide frequent feedback and context to your learning
  • Convenient weekly schedule with no required meeting times means you decide when to work on course assignments

On average, you should expect to spend 3-5 hours weekly completing your coursework, which may include:

  • Readings
  • Discussion forums
  • Exercises
  • Collaborative group projects
  • Quizzes and exams

Registration Deadline

To ensure timely access to your course, please register at least one week prior to the start date. Any registrations received after that time may incur processing and course access delays.

Ordering Certificates

To order an ABA Certificate suitable for framing, please contact ABA Member Services. Be sure to indicate the name of the credential, and include your transcript showing completion of all required courses. The fee for each certificate is $20. Expedited and/or international shipping is available at an additional cost.
