The Military Talent Strategic Sourcing (MTSS) team supports Wells Fargo’s hiring efforts by delivering a skilled military talent pool and increasing diverse representation. By empowering and advocating for military affiliated candidates through the challenges of career transition, we enhance their experience and elevate their success when competing for meaningful careers. Wells Fargo is a military-friendly employer, who recognizes veterans and service members as a rich source of talent, experience, and hard-earned skills. The unique qualities these individuals bring to the table translate into value for our company. Our challenge is to boost the number of veterans employed at Wells Fargo to support two very important enterprise priorities.

  1. Compliance — Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, as of March 2023, the OFCCP veteran hiring benchmark is 5.4% of external hires.
  2. Diversity — Approximately 57% of veterans hired at Wells Fargo last year self-identified as one or more categories of racial, ethnic, and/or gender diversity. Our support to veterans transitioning from military service includes a dedicated team of Military Talent Liaisons, committed to recruiting, counseling, and advocating for military job seekers. Candidates can connect with our team for coaching on their career journey. Liaisons support candidates with a variety of job seeker resources (i.e., developing a transition strategy, crafting a compelling resume, skills gap analysis, and interview performance).
