Attendee Checklist | Annual Convention

It’s almost time to head to Salt Lake City! Make sure you’re prepared to get the most out of your ABA Annual Convention experience with a few tips and tricks.

When you arrive

• Pick up your badge and your conference booklet at registration on level 1 of the Salt Palace Convention Center. Pro tip: Take off your badge when venturing outside the conference center.
• ID check: Utah state law requires 100% ID checking at all bars or events serving alcohol. All attendees will be required to show ID upon check in, and at any Annual Convention events where alcohol is served.

Build your schedule

• Be sure to view our full schedule in advance and plan your days on site. Use the mobile app to build and manage your conference schedule.
• Divide and conquer: With 20 concurrent Knowledge Sessions, it’s not possible to be everywhere at once. In advance, decide with your team, or new friends and colleagues, who will attend each session. Take notes for each other! Meet up after the sessions — while the content is still fresh — to regroup and discuss.

Visit The Hub — it’s all new!

This year The Hub has been reimagined, bringing you curated experiences including the Solutions Stage and the Meet the Experts Lounge. Be sure to make time during the Monday and Tuesday breaks to explore tailored solutions for your bank. Don’t forget to have some Salt Lake City fun — pick up a custom conference T-shirt and meet four-time Olympic medalist Jessie Diggins at the IntraFi booth!

A note on dining

Breakfast and lunch are provided during the Industry Hot Topics sessions on level 2 of the Salt Palace Convention Center. Enjoy small bites and drinks during each break in the Hub and during our receptions. Coffee will be provided outside of sessions.

Bringing a guest?

Our mobile app will include a flyer detailing their special program. Make sure they pick up their badge at registration.

Using the mobile app

• Fill out your profile: Introduce yourself and update or fill out your profile with your headshot, title and more.
• Build your schedule: Add sessions to your app calendar so you can keep track of the conference content most important to you. Each session will have an “Add Session” button available so you can easily plan your days.
• View our sponsors and exhibitors: Find solutions tailored to your bank’s needs and budget.
• Download materials: Downloadable materials from presentations, if available, will be linked at the bottom of each corresponding session.
• Fill out session surveys: Be sure to leave your thoughts on the sessions you attend — we carefully review all feedback. Please note: Leaving feedback is a feature only available on the mobile app, and a survey link will only populate at the bottom of the session you have added to your mobile app schedule.
