Tom is the CEO of First Mutual Holding Co., the largest member-owned mutual holding company of its kind in Ohio, with affiliate banks including First Federal Lakewood and First Mutual Bank.

Previously, Tom served as president and CEO of First Federal Lakewood until 2018, where he also held roles as EVP/COO and Chief Lending Officer. With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Tom's career includes senior vice president roles at Westfield Bank, various positions at the former National City Bank, and experience as a consultant and senior analyst with Andersen Consulting.

Tom holds both a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University.

As a seasoned financial services leader, Tom can provide insight and expertise across the banking landscape, including executive strategy, operations, compliance, product development, sales, community banking, and mutuality.
