ABA Foundation Applauds Updates to U.S. National Strategy for Financial Literacy

WASHINGTON —

After today's release of the 2026 Update to the U.S. National Strategy for Financial Literacy, Lindsay Torrico, executive director, ABA Foundation, issued the following statement:

“We applaud the Financial Literacy and Education Commission for the today’s release of the 2026 National Strategy for Financial Literacy. The strategy’s priorities align closely with the ABA Foundation's recommendations, as well as banks’ ongoing efforts to advance financial education, promote savings and investing, and protect consumers from fraud.

“We look forward to collaborating with the Treasury Department, the Financial Literacy and Education Commission and partners across the public and private sectors to advance these shared priorities and strengthen the financial well-being of individuals, families and communities.”
