Thank you for speaking at the 2025 ABA Risk and Compliance Conference. Your participation will enhance the ability of advanced-level risk and compliance professionals to benchmark their current practices and improve their performance.

This page highlights key speaker information. For details on the audience, speaker protocols and more, please refer to the downloadable Speaker FAQ page linked here

Conference Overview

ABA spent 36 years producing the largest consumer compliance conference in the country and 10 years hosting a comprehensive risk conference. In 2023, the two were combined to create a single event that strengthens risk and compliance expertise and offer a single destination for emerging practices and trends. Today, the ABA Risk and Compliance Conference serves as a collaborative forum for sharing innovative ideas and solutions.

We are expecting 1,800-2,000 in-person attendees along with another 1000+ remote attendees.

This is a synchronous event that connects the in person and remote attendee experiences. All sessions will be recorded onsite with general sessions live-streamed for the remote audience. Session recordings will be available to remote attendees on the digital conference platform within 72 hours of recording. On site attendees will gain access to all recordings one week after returning home. The conference platform will remain available through August 31, 2026.

Speaker Registration and Housing

Speakers Receive Complimentary Conference Registration

All speakers must self-register due to GDPR privacy compliance rules. Please complete the entire electronic form (instructions and link below), including checking the disclosure agreement boxes.

Complimentary Speaker Registration Instructions

  • Speaker registrations are non-transferable.
  • Please use Chrome browser and go to the conference registration page
  • Log into your aba.com account or create an account if you don’t have one. Select “Speaker” as your registration type for the event. (not attendee or press)
  • Enter your information or check the auto-populated information and proceed. Answer the required consent questions in the affirmative. Registration cannot move forward without affirmative responses. Hit “confirm and continue.”
  • When you are asked to select registration option, select “Risk and Compliance Conference - In Person All Access Registration” so your complimentary speaker coupon code will work. No other selection will work with your speaker complimentary registration code.
  • Enter your coupon code in the space provided – do not cut and paste the code, type the code into the box with no spaces before or after the dash. Your code is: ABARCCSPK26-6050 which will zero out the price for that selection. Please do not share this code as we validate all speakers coming into the system using this code.
  • Any issues with registration should be directed to [email protected] – identify yourself as a speaker for the Risk and Compliance Conference and they will assist you in registering.

    Hotel Reservation Instructions

While the conference does not pay for speaker expenses, we invite you to register as a VIP in our special speaker room block. This ensures you will be in a protected block, at one of the conference hotels, at the conference rate, regardless of any overbooking situation. Use this link to register as a VIP in one of our hotels:

    Speaker Release Form

ABA will email you a speaker release e form through our Ironclad system. A signed release is required for all speakers; those unable to sign a release cannot participate in RCC. If a customized release is needed, our Office of General Counsel can negotiate terms. If special terms are needed, please contact Dorothy Friedlander at [email protected] as soon as possible.

    What does the release cover?

ABA’s Speaker Release allows ABA to:

    • Video record your presentation, post the non-downloadable recording on the virtual conference platform and have it accessible, on-demand on the conference virtual platform, (accessible only by registered attendees until September 15, 2026. Videos are not downloadable, but materials will be)
    • Provide your handouts to attendees on our mobile app and conference platform.
    • Include your name/biography/headshot on our mobile app and conference platform.
    • Use clips from non-government speaker sessions for future conference marketing.
    • For government speaker sessions, use unedited clips for ABA news postings only, not marketing.

During the conference, our mobile app (also operated by Cvent) will house viewable PowerPoint files, which will remain viewable for a short period after the event.

The release also permits ABA to post your biography and headshot on both the virtual conference platform and the mobile app.

For questions about biography/headshot submission or the speaker release process, please contact TiJuanna Smith at [email protected].

Keynotes: You will be contacted by Dorothy Friedlander to finalize the details of your presentation.
