2019 Seattle

Community Development Tours

During the 2019 American Bankers Association’s Annual Convention, bankers participated in the ABA Foundation’s seventh annual community development tour. Participants visited community revitalization efforts throughout Seattle’s Belltown, First Hill and Central District neighborhoods. Bankers observed how partnerships between banks and community organizations—such as Plymouth Housing and Capitol Hill Housing —are tackling challenges with homelessness, affordable housing and gentrification.
