Black Bankers ERG

Who We Are

The Black Bankers Employee Resource Group (“BBERG”) is an open resource group for all bankers, developed to create a forum for Black bankers who do not have the benefit of an identity-focused ERG within their organizations, and for those bankers who do have the benefit of internal ERGs, to augment their ERG experience. The forum is hosted by the ABA under the direction and leadership of the BBERG.

To facilitate communication, understanding, and constructive change, which will result in a financial industry where ALL can thrive.

Mission:

Engage, develop, retain, recruit, and progress Black professionals in the financial industry.

Purpose:

To holistically improve the quality of Black financial professionals’ lives within our work environments and communities.
