Sessions and Content

How do I access the school content?

Students can access the platform, Canvas, in early January. Find the schedule, logistics, pre-program assignments and materials, all on the Canvas platform.

To access Canvas, please be on the lookout for an automated email invitation from [email protected]. You will be prompted to enter a username (your email address) and create a password. Please be sure to bookmark the site once you’ve gained access.

What if I don't receive the link to access the school?

Contact Keshia Johnson at [email protected] to receive a new link.

Can I share my login with others?

Just like an in-person school, registrations cannot be shared. The registration provides a single sign-on secure experience for the user.

How much time should I expect to be online during the event?

Please refer to the school curriculum for live session times. Please note all times are listed in Eastern time.

Will the sessions be interactive?

The sessions will include frequent Q&A, audience polls, collaborative breakouts and other interactive features. Questions may be asked via the chat feature and will be moderated during sessions. 

Will session materials (handouts or PowerPoint slides) presented during the school be made available in advance?

All registered students will have access to the session materials and handouts in Canvas.

Am I able or allowed to share downloadable school content?

PowerPoint materials and non-copyrighted handouts shared by faculty may be shared within your organization for non-commercial uses (e.g., you are restricted from charging someone else for use of the materials). 

CE Credits & ABA Certifications

Is the ABA Data & Analytics School eligible for CE credits? If so, how many CE and what is the process?

Yes, the school is eligible for ABA Professional CE Credits: CFMP 21.75

How will credits be applied?

CFMP CE credit will be added to your certification record on your behalf no later than Feb. 18, 2022.

Note: Do not enter CE credit for this school to your certification record as it will create a duplicate entry.

Event Platform

What are the technical requirements of the platform?

In preparation for the online program, please ensure that the following technical requirements are met:

  • Browser Requirements:
    • Internet Explorer 9.x and above
    • Firefox 3.6 and above
    • Safari 3.x and above
    • Google Chrome
  • Computer with speakers, camera and microphone
  • High Speed Internet

Do I have to participate in the school from the same device used to register? Our training manager typically handles all the sign-ups but will not be the one participating.

Your registration login can be used on any piece of equipment, but you do have to use the email address that was provided when you registered. Make sure the person in charge of registering provides individual emails, so each student can sign in using the required single sign-on credentials.

Will this have a single log-in where a group from the same institution can attend together?

The school is a single sign-on experience and intended only for individual participants. Each registration is for a single person, and the content can't be exported out of the platform for a shared experience. Only registered attendees will be eligible for CE credits.

How will I gain access to the platform?

Look for an email with login credentials and instructions prior to the school’s start. If you have do not receive this email, contact Keisha Johnson at [email protected].

Can I connect with other students?

There will be opportunities to network and connect with students, faculty and Compliance School Advisory Board members over the course of the school.

Tips for Success

Before school begins:

  • Notify your manager and co-workers you collaborate with frequently that you’ll be in school 
  • Block your schedule on your calendar during class time
  • Use an “Out of Office” message for your e-mail

During school:

  • You will be asked to keep your camera on when possible. We have found this helps keep everyone engaged. Dress appropriately and ensure you are in an appropriate environment. 
  • Keep your microphone on mute when not talking. 
  • When typing questions in chat, be as clear as possible. The question may not be answered immediately, so it is important that the question is worded in a way that makes sense after the fact. 
  • During sessions, stay on topic in the chat.
