When and how can I access the virtual conference?

First register by clicking here. Once your registration has been processed by ABA, you will receive a link to the platform.  This link will provide access to the conference through December 31, 2020.

What if I don't receive the link?

Contact [email protected] and a member of the ABA team can assist you.

Can I share this link with others?

Just like an in-person meeting, registrations cannot be shared. The registration provides a single sign-on secure experience for an individual user.

Will this have a single login where a group can attend together, or is it intended as an individual attendance?

The conference is a single sign-on experience and intended only for individuals. Each registration is just for a single person, and the content cannot be exported out of the platform for a shared experience. If you registered a team or group, each person will have their own unique login. Only registered attendees will be eligible for CE Credits.

How do I login to the platform?

You only need the email address you provided during registration to access the platform. There is no password.

Will session materials (handouts or PPTs) be made available?

Session materials (if provided by the speaker) will be available on the platform, and will be available through December 31, 2020. 

What will I experience in the Partner Pavilion?

The Partner Pavilion is your chance to connect with industry providers and meet new companies to learn more about their products and services. You can interact directly with each company, download product whitepapers and handouts, and enter to win big prizes.  

How long will content be available on the platform?

Content will be available for viewing through December 31, 2020. 

Am I able or allowed to share downloadable conference content?

You will be able to download handouts and/or PPTs (if provided by the speaker); however, no platform recordings of any kind can be downloaded (or shared) at any time. This is a single sign-on/no group sharing of content, meaning your registration is just like a conference badge at an in-person event. Registered users will be able to access all conference content through December 31, 2020.

Event Platform

Do I have to watch the conference from the same device used to register? Our training manager typically handles all the sign-ups but will not be the one participating.

Your registration login can be used on any piece of equipment, but you do have to use the email address that was provided when you registered. If you were registered as part of a team, be sure to confirm the email address with which you were registered as the platform requires each person to have a unique login.  

Is Intrado an app, or is it streaming?

Intrado is not an app. It is a cloud-based secure streaming conference solution, and the conference features a secure single sign-on requirement. ABA’s webinars are held on Intrado, too, and the conference platform is simply a more robust environment. Content and information cannot be lifted from the platform for use elsewhere.

I’m not sure if my company will allow access to the Intrado site. Is there a way I can check to ensure I won’t have problems?

You can run a system check here. In addition, we have a list of tips and device requirements that you can use and/or share with your company’s IT department. Please note that the platform works best when accessed via Chrome or Firefox.

CE Credits & ABA Certifications

Is the Unconventional Convention eligible for CPE? If so, how many CPE and what is the process?

A maximum of 15 CPE credits (Field of Study-6 Comm. & Mkg, 5 Info. Tech, 2 Mgmt. Srvcs, 2 Bus. Mgmt. & Org.)

Only participants in the live event, October 19 and 20, were eligible to earn CPE credits. A maximum of 15 CPE credits (Field of Study-6 Comm. & Mkg, 5 Info. Tech, 2 Mgmt. Srvcs, 2 Bus. Mgmt. & Org.) will be awarded. All live program attendees will receive an email approximately 7 days after the LIVE event concludes with instructions on how to access their CPE certificate of completion. 

American Bankers Association is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org

How many ABA Professional Certification CE credits are available for the conference?

CERP 12, CFMP 16 and CLBB 5 CE credits. Your Certification record will be automatically updated with credit 7 days after the LIVE event concludes. No further action is required from you.

Billing & Pricing

Does the price enable multiple attendees like a webinar setting?

This conference is a single sign-on experience, and each registrant will receive their own unique login, including individuals who are registered as part of a team. This login allows one user to navigate through the platform and experience sessions, the exhibit hall, and more.

Content cannot be exported or downloaded from the platform for a shared experience among non-registrants. Additionally, only registered attendees will be eligible for CE credits.

Individual

The cost of $695 is per person for members, $895 for non-members.

Team

Price savings start when you register three or more bankers.

Bring the Bank

The event is an opportunity to enable multiple employees at the bank to experience this year’s event. Contact ABA if you would like to register more than 25 bankers and/or board members.
