ABA Offers Resources for Cybersecurity Awareness Month

One of 300 participants from public & private sector

WASHINGTON — The American Bankers Association is recognizing the 13th annual National Cybersecurity Awareness Month by offering a series of consumer tips to promote online safety awareness.

ABA is one of 300 organizations that have signed on to be champions of the National Cybersecurity Awareness Month campaign. The campaign is led by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security together with the National Cyber Security Alliance, the nation’s leading nonprofit, public-private partnership promoting online safety and digital privacy.

Throughout October, ABA will release resources to help consumers prevent, identify, and report instances of cybercrime; such as ways to protect your mobile device, your identity, your small business account and yourself online.
