ABA Endorses Level Access for Digital Accessibility Products


​WASHINGTON — The American Bankers Association – through its subsidiary the Corporation for American Banking – has endorsed a suite of digital accessibility products offered by Level Access. The announcement was made today at ABA’s Regulatory Compliance Conference in Orlando.
The products offered by Level Access (formerly SSB BART Group) help financial institutions ensure their technology platforms are accessible for all customers, including users with disabilities.
Following a thorough due diligence review that included independent evaluation by industry experts, Level Access was chosen for its history in, and single focus on, the accessibility space, as well as its strong financial standing and customer service focus.
In addition, the Level Access product set offers banks a number of ways to address their accessibility process, from a turnkey managed- service approach to a highly customized process. Level Access provides the infrastructure to facilitate all aspects of a successful accessibility compliance program. ABA member banks will receive discounted pricing by Level Access.
“While the Department of Justice hasn’t issued final Title III website accessibility regulations, forward thinking banks are looking for solutions to ensure customer accessibility to their websites today,” said Bryan Luke, chairman of ABA’s Endorsed Solutions Banker Advisory Council. “The suite of digital accessibility products offered by Level Access enables banks to to mitigate potential legal risks while ensuring website accessibility compliance for those customers with disabilities.” Luke is also president and COO of Hawaii National Bank in Honolulu.
