ABA Partners with MBA in Releasing Television Ad in Support of Sen. Jon Tester

WASHINGTON — The American Bankers Association, in partnership with the Montana Bankers Association, today released a new television ad supporting the re-election of Senator Jon Tester (D-MT).
“We’re excited to join our colleagues in Montana to support Sen. Tester’s bid for another term in office,” said ABA President and CEO Rob Nichols. “His willingness to work across the aisle to pass commonsense financial regulatory reform in the Senate will help Montana and the rest of the country. ABA stands ready to support candidates in both parties such as Senator Tester who are willing to help America’s banks better serve their customers and communities.”
The ad features three Montana community bankers explaining their role in helping small businesses, ranchers, farmers and families in Montana grow, and how Sen. Tester’s leadership in Congress has made that possible.
“We thank Senator Tester for his bipartisan leadership on Capitol Hill, and we are pleased to support his re-election in November,” said MBA president and CEO Steve Turkiewicz. “His efforts in the Senate are helping our members support the Montana economy and create jobs. This ad will help tell that story.”
The ad will begin appearing in Montana as soon as today. Click here to see the ad in full.
