Book Award Program

ABA-Foundation-Award-Program-Banner2.jpg
The ABA Foundation and First Book joined forces to put the “literacy” in financial literacy and provided 17,000 financial education themed books to students in 2016. First Book—a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide disadvantaged children with new books—has distributed more than 135 million free and low-cost books to more than 32 million children in the U.S. and Canada.

Thank you Little Girl w book.jpgto the banks in 25 states who participated in the Book Award Program and distributed books to students in grades K-12. Read firsthand accounts of bankers participants.

While the Book Award Program ended at the close of 2016, we encourage bankers to register in the Foundation's financial education initiatives and continue to bring money smarts into the classroom.
