The Lights, Camera, Save! national judging panel selects three national winners from top submissions across the US who received money to fund their savings goal, plus a scholarship to the Jump$tart National Educator Conference for an educator from their school!

National judges were announced in November and look forward to the creative videos young people will submit to spread the message of how important it is to save for the future and use money wisely.

George Barany

Director, Consumer Federation of America

For the past thirty - nine years Mr. Barany has developed programs and systemic solutions to poverty issues including lack of assets for low and moderate income Americans. He has directed non profit advocacy and economic development organizations focused on community organizing, micro finance, senior issues, industrial development, wealth creation and asset development.

At the Consumer Federation of America Mr. Barany has developed savings programs for highs schools, college and summer employment programs along with efforts focused on saving by lower wage workers.

He co-organized the America Saves pilot – Cleveland Saves – and led the development of the national America Saves Week now going on its ninth year.

Katlyn Grasso

CEO and Founder, GenHERation

Ms. Grasso is CEO and founder of GenHERation. The organization’s 2017 Discovery Days tour was recognized as the largest career exploration trip for young women in the US with an audience reach of more than 12.2 million people. She is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an inaugural recipient of the PennPresident’s Engagement Prize, which provides graduating seniors with $150,000 to develop innovative projects that have the potential to change the world. She has helped found two nonprofit organizations, is a member of the Penn Fund Executive Board and the Penn Nursing Center for Global Women's Health Advisory Board.

Ashley Jacobs

Director of Marketing, Wise Bread

Ms. Jacobs is the Director of Marketing for Wise Bread. She is best known for hosting Wise Bread's weekly #WBChat tweetchat on Thursdays from 12pm-1pm PST, and averages 8.2 million impressions per chat. She has had articles appear on Yahoo! News, U.S. News & World Report, America Saves, Business Insider, and more. She has also been interviewed by blogs, companies, and radio/podcast shows including Breaking Banks, Experian, CouponPal, Microblogger, and more on social media trends.

Laura Levine

President and CEO, Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy

Ms. Levine has devoted her career to helping people of all ages better understand financial services through marketing and outreach, communications, and most recently, through education. In 2004, she was tapped to lead the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy. This Washington, D.C.-based alliance of 150 national partners and 49 affiliated state coalitions is dedicated to improving the financial literacy of pre-kindergarten through college-age youth. In 2008, Ms. Levine was appointed to the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy by President George W. Bush and chaired the Council’s Youth Committee. She currently serves on the Experian Consumer Council and the Retirement Security Coalition Advisory Board.
