ABA Partners with NCBA in Releasing Television Ad in Support of Rep. Ted Budd

​The American Bankers Association, in partnership with the North Carolina Bankers Association, today released a new television ad supporting the re-election of Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC).
“We are thrilled to partner with North Carolina bankers to support Rep. Budd in this important race," said ABA President and CEO Rob Nichols. “In this election year, ABA will support candidates in both parties like Rep. Budd who have demonstrated a commitment to commonsense regulation and pro-growth policies that will allow America's banks to do even more to support their customers and grow the economy.”
The ad features Kelley Earnhardt Miller, Dale Earnhardt’s daughter and the chairman of a community bank in North Carolina. In the spot she expresses her support for Rep. Budd and describes how his policies help local businesses in the district.

Budd in his re-election effort and believe he is the right person to continue representing North Carolina’s 13th district in the U.S. Congress,” said NCBA president and CEO Peter Gwaltney. “Rep. Budd understands the important role North Carolina's banks play in the economy, and his strong support for commonsense legislation to allow banks to better serve their customers and communities benefits all North Carolinians. This positive ad reflects that."
