ABA Partners with Maine Bankers Association to Release TV Ad in Support of Rep. Bruce Poliquin

The American Bankers Association, in partnership with the Maine Bankers Association, will release a new television ad supporting the re-election of Representative Bruce Poliquin (R-ME).
“In Congress, Bruce Poliquin has used his business experience to craft policies that grow jobs and the economy,” said ABA President and CEO Rob Nichols. “He has demonstrated his commitment to commonsense regulation for the nation's banks. We are pleased to work with bankers in Maine to support his re-election."
The ad emphasizes Rep. Poliquin’s sustained support for pro-growth policies in Congress.
As the midterm elections approach, ABA will continue to enhance its political engagement in support of both Democratic and Republican candidates that have supported policies that will allow America's banks to better serve their customers and communities. Working with state associations, ABA will identify races where bankers’ support can make a difference in the outcome.
“We are proud to partner with ABA in this election year,” said Maine Bankers Association President and CEO Christopher W. Pinkham. "We need the next Congress to continue to pursue sensible banking policies that allow Maine's banks to do even more to help create jobs and grow the state's economy.”
The ad will begin appearing in Maine as soon as today. Click here to see the ad in full.
