Monday Livestream: ABA President and CEO Rob Nichols, ABA Chair Scott Anderson and Acting FDIC Chairman Martin Gruenberg to Kick Off ABA's Annual Convention

ABA President and CEO Rob Nichols and outgoing ABA Chair Scott Anderson, president and CEO of Zions Bank, will headline the opening session of the American Bankers Association’s 2022 Annual Convention in Austin, Texas, in front of an audience of bank leaders from across the country. Nichols will discuss issues facing the industry and ABA’s policy priorities. Anderson will reflect on his year as ABA Chair and his conversations with bankers around the nation. Acting Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Chairman Martin Gruenberg will follow the ABA leaders, sharing his perspective on FDIC priorities before participating in a Q&A session with Rob Nichols on current banking issues. Following Acting FDIC Chair Gruenberg’s conversation with Nichols, a panel of bank CEOs from around the country will detail the business outlook in their markets, current challenges and what has them excited about the future.
