ABA Statement on Hurricane Dorian

"Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those in the path of Hurricane Dorian, including the employees and customers of many ABA member banks. We continue to track the storm closely and the potential impact it could have on the banking system in the affected states, and we stand ready to assist state bankers associations in any way we can. We also remain in close coordination with the relevant federal agencies, the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center, and other private sector partners so that our member banks have the information and resources they need to respond to Hurricane Dorian. We urge everyone in the storm's path to heed the warnings of local and state officials and to do whatever they can to protect against loss of life."
