WASHINGTON —

The American Bankers Association joined the California Bankers Association today in releasing a new ad thanking Representative Young Kim (R-Calif.) for working to ensure community banks can help families and small businesses in need. In addition, ABA joined the Georgia Bankers Association in launching a new ad thanking Representative David Scott (D-Ga.) for supporting the Neighborhood Homes Investment Act, which would increase affordable housing in the state.

“We are pleased to join ABA in releasing this ad thanking Representative Kim for her efforts to ensure community banks are able to help local communities and businesses thrive,” said Steve Andrews, president and CEO of the California Bankers Association. “We appreciate her continued support of sound policies that help banks better serve their customers and communities.”

"We're grateful for the opportunity to join ABA in launching this ad thanking Representative Scott for his support of sensible policies to increase affordable housing throughout Georgia," said Joe Brannen, president and CEO of the Georgia Bankers Association.
