ABA Joins Florida Bankers Association in Releasing New Ad Encouraging Sen. Marco Rubio to Keep Fighting for Small Businesses

WASHINGTON —

The American Bankers Association joined the Florida Bankers Association today in releasing a new television ad encouraging Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) to keep fighting for small businesses and the jobs they support.

“We appreciate Senator Rubio’s support for the Paycheck Protection Program, which was a financial lifeline to small businesses across the country,” said ABA President and CEO Rob Nichols. “His efforts have helped protect Americans’ paychecks during an unprecedented period.”

"We're grateful for the opportunity to join ABA in launching this ad thanking Senator Rubio," said Alex Sanchez, president and CEO of the Florida Bankers Association. "Senator Rubio fought to ensure Florida families and businesses had the relief they needed during a critically important time, and we encourage him to continue his work to protect Floridians going forward.”

The ad will begin airing in Florida as soon as today. Click here to see the ad.
