ABA and the Nebraska Bankers Association Release New Ads Thanking Rep. Don Bacon

WASHINGTON —

The American Bankers Association joined the Nebraska Bankers Association today in releasing new ads thanking Representative Don Bacon for his leadership in helping to protect small businesses and their employees during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Don Bacon stepped up for small businesses in Nebraska when they needed it the most,” said ABA President and CEO Rob Nichols. “His strong support for the Paycheck Protection Program helped keep Nebraska workers on the job, and now he is working to drive the economy forward.”

"Don Bacon is a dedicated veteran and leader who has shown a strong commitment to Nebraska workers and families,” said Richard Baier, president and CEO of the NBA. “Nebraska’s economy has been hit hard by the pandemic, but thanks to Representative Bacon’s support for legislation providing relief to struggling small businesses and agricultural producers, many jobs were saved. His continued efforts in Congress will be critical to getting our economy moving again.”

The voter education campaign will begin airing in Nebraska as soon as today. Click here to see the ads.
