ABA and North Carolina Bankers Association Release New Ads Thanking Sen. Thom Tillis

The American Bankers Association joined the North Carolina Bankers Association today in releasing new ads thanking Senator Thom Tillis for supporting the CARES Act, which helped protect thousands of jobs in the state during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Thom Tillis is a dedicated problem solver focused on protecting North Carolina businesses and jobs during this public health emergency,” said ABA President and CEO Rob Nichols. “His strong support of the Paycheck Protection Program and his efforts to simplify the loan forgiveness process for small business borrowers are critically important both in North Carolina and across the country.”

"Thom Tillis has delivered for North Carolina and he continues to work to bring North Carolina back,” said Peter Gwaltney, president and CEO of the NCBA. “His efforts have provided a financial lifeline for small businesses, protecting thousands of jobs. We are proud to join ABA in releasing these new ads that recognize his leadership on these important issues.”

The voter education campaign will begin airing in North Carolina as soon as today. Click here to see the ads.
