As a 21st century community bank, headquarted in Boston, MA our workforce, customers, products and services should reflect the communities we serve and we know that being a true community partner is about more than writing a check and that's why we have the XTEAM®, our acclaimed Employee Volunteer Program, which helps our employees and company give back through a series of corporate volunteer activities. The program has evolved significantly since its launch 2008 into a high impact community and employee engagement program. As part of the effort, Berkshire Bank provides every employee with 16 hours of paid time off annually to volunteer during regular business hours. The XTEAM® engages and empowers employees throughout the company and allows for local decision making on the service projects we undertake. Bank employees at all levels within the company identify and plan projects. The program's strategy is flexible to reflect local community needs, opportunities and employees interests, yet focused to maximize business and community impact. XTEAM® projects range from building outdoor classrooms, mentoring, financial education and Habitat build days to assembling bikes to make a child's holiday a brighter. In 2019, 100% of employees completed 301 company-supported projects donating 31,917 hours of service to affect 1.1 million lives. The XTEAM® is a central piece of our corporate culture and extension of our Be FIRST values. berkshirebank.com/csrfacebook.com/Berkshirebank
