It's never too early to teach children about the value of money and savings. Ridgewood Savings Bank is committed to educating the next generation of savers in the communities it serves. It offers quality programs that engage children and teens, both in and out of school. Ridgewood has four financial education programs for minors:

  • Teach Children to Save which sends trained Ridgewood Savings Bank volunteers to make financial literacy presentations to students grade levels K-12.
  • School Banking Program that provides banking services to K-12 students right in their schools.
  • Get Smart About Credit which teaches young adults vital money management skills.
  • Lights, Action, Save! that encourages teens ages 13-18 to learn about saving and spending money wisely, and then demonstrate what they've learned by making a short video.
