UniBank Charitable Foundation

UniBank, with assets of .4 billion as of December 31, 2021 and a consolidated net income of ,785,779 in 2021, prides itself on its dedication to giving back to the local communities it serves. A central hallmark to UniBank's mission is to give back to our local communities for the betterment of those in need. Each year, UniBank supports local organizations focused on youth development, community development, affordable housing, and the environment with over ,000 in grants and sponsorships. Through this support UniBank strengthens the communities it serves by improving the quality of life for individuals and families. UniBank employees directly serve the community as well. As an example, in 2021 employees served on committees and as board members for 48 local charitable organizations.

Because of the partnerships UniBank has developed with local community organizations, the existence of critical care services including nourishment for those facing food insecurity, home heating assistance for low income seniors, programs for individuals struggling with addiction and support for individuals living with disabilities is much stronger.

This principal of philanthropic giving is what led the bank, in 2021, to announce the founding of the UniBank Charitable Foundation, which the Bank seeded with million. The UniBank Charitable Foundation allows UniBank to continue the legacy of giving and the mission of helping people in Central Massachusetts for generation to come. Giving through the UniBank Charitable Foundation will supplement the bank's pre-exisiting charitable efforts and will impact the community in powerul ways.
