Teach Children to Save

Our customer-facing employees, such as Branch Managers and Assistant Branch Managers, visited local schools to give financial education presentation about saving money and managing budget to children in schools. Mostly employees in our Southern Region branches participated in this initiative. We had more branches participate this year than we have in several years. There was a pause in giving presentations in person due to the pandemic. Last year, we had at least one employee give a presentation to her daughter's class through Zoom. This year, more employees are visiting their local schools again. Our Marketing team created the Powerpoint presentations for anyone in the company to use. Our new Community Development Officer oversaw this project, in order to help with meeting our CRA guidelines and requirements.
