The Housing Authority of Elizabeth (HACE) and the Rutgers Center for Green Building (RCGB) teamed up to implement and communicate practical and cost-effective interventions for improving indoor air quality, an upstream determinant of health. The Rutgers Center for Green Building (RCGB) promotes green building and healthy communities through research, education and training, and partnerships with industry, government and not-for-profit organizations. This program targets low-income families at the Housing Authority of Elizabeth impacted by significant levels of air pollution and related environmental impacts.
