Giving Back, Giving Together

C&N has always attracted team members who have a strong sense of giving. Seven years ago, our teammates asked if they could do more. As a company, we were already doing monthly giving days. The thought was that if we gave more structure and focused on one cause at a time, we could do more and make a more significant impact. So, we rolled out Giving Back, Giving Together. In its first year, we supported local food banks. We set the goal at ,000 and told our team members to get creative and have fun with it. Our team members took the initiative to put together fundraisers and collect donations and really breathed life into the program and made it the success that it is. That first year, we blew past our 10,000 goal and raised ,000, and the program has continued to build momentum. Each year, the program continues to grow. We’ve supported many great causes, including support for military service members, food banks, emergency services, public libraries, and most recently our children in need. To date, our teammates have been able to give over half a million dollars back to our communities. And best of all, every dollar raised from this program stays local to help the people here.
