Exchange Bank Celebrates 130 Years of Frank Doyle's Legacy of Community Commitment and VolunteerismExchange Bank's mission is to build a strong future for our community and to have a lasting positive impact in thecommunities we serve. We do this through leadership, volunteerism, charitable giving and community support. Exchange Bank's co-founder Frank Doyle displayed his commitment to Santa Rosa with a simple piece of paper hislast will and testament. Upon his death in 1948, Frank Doyle's controlling shares of Exchange Bank common stockwere placed into a perpetual trust the Frank P. Doyle and Polly O'Meara Doyle Scholarship Fund, to assist in theeducation of "worthy young men and women attending Santa Rosa Junior College." Since 1948, the scholarshipfund has provided over million to 135,000 Sonoma County students. The trust ensured that Frank Doyle's legacyof community commitment would always stand as an active example for the rest of the Exchange Bank family. Today, Exchange Bank employees share the Doyle legacy of giving back. Each year, employees participate in fivebank-sponsored fundraisers. In 2019, employees personally raised ,000 through fundraising activities andvolunteered over 4000 hours of their own time (100 days of volunteer hours!).
