BankPlus Affordable Housing Program

BankPlus developed its Affordable Housing Program in 2002 to provide homeownership opportunities for low-to-moderate-income individuals and families. In the past ten years, the Program has evolved to address many other community development initiatives beyond homeownership.

The success of the Program has been significantly enhanced through the Community Investment Programs offered by Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB). From promoting affordable housing to small business development, in addition to providing matching contributions to nonprofit organizations focused on community development, FHLB programs have enabled BankPlus to positively impact thousands of lives. We believe FHLB should be recognized for their tremendous support in the five-state district served by the Dallas office. While all community partnerships are crucial to the bank's community development goals, working with FHLB Dallas has yielded awe-inspiring results.
