Price: $133 (lunch provided)

Your stay in Hawaii isn't complete without a visit to the two symbolic "bookends" of the Pacific War: the USS Arizona whose bombing was the catalyst that propelled the US into WWII, and the USS Missouri on whose decks the Japanese formally surrendered.

The Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour is led by a guide whose knowledge of and appreciation for these historic sites makes this "memorial" tour an experience to remember. To complete the tour, you'll take a drive through Punchbowl Crater, home of the National Cemetery of the Pacific. Here, 38,000 markers pay tribute to the men and women of the US Armed Forces who have sacrificed for their country.

Please note: You will need to stand in line to enter the Memorial. Do not bring large bags or items that could offer concealment. Lockers are available for purchase.

Stand at ground zero of the infamous attack and gaze up at a sky once filled with enemy planes.

This Pearl Harbor Excursion immerses you in the sights, sounds and personal stories of the world-changing events of Pearl Harbor, December 1941. A movie, a boat trip across the harbor, and perhaps a chance to meet a survivor of the attack complete your tour of the Memorial.

GUEST TOUR

Queen Emma Summer Palace and Iolani Palace
Tuesday, Feb. 27th | 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Price: $141

NCCB-Tours-lolani-Palace.jpg
The Iolani Palace was the royal residence of the rulers of the Kingdom of Hawaii beginning with Kamehameha III under the Kamehameha Dynasty (1845) and ending with Queen Lili'uokalani (1893) under the Kal’kaua Dynasty. After the monarchy was over-thrown in 1893, the building was used as the capitol building for the Provisional Government, Republic, Territory, and State of Hawai'i until 1969. Now a historical landmark, the palace was restored and opened to the public as a museum in 978.

Queen Emma Summer Palace served as a retreat for the queen of Hawaii from 1857 to 1885, as well as for her husband King Kame-hameha IV, and their son, Prince Albert Edward. Hanaiaka-malama is located in the Nu'uanu Valley, long a popular location first for Hawaiian chiefs and royalty, and later for non-Hawaiian residents, who found the cooler climate of the uplands more comfortable than downtown Honolulu.

Please note: Bus will stop for attendees to purchase lunch
