Municipal Credit Review and Monitoring Platform

Evaluating credit risk in a bank’s municipal portfolio and prospective purchases is more important than ever. FTN Financial Capital Markets' Municipal Credit Review (MCR) provides a comprehensive and easily accessible platform to meet all of an institution’s municipal due diligence needs. It provides a wealth of issuer financial and demographic data across more than a dozen sectors and includes a proprietary system for ranking credit quality. The platform also provides FTN Financial-generated and custom watch lists, and even identifies CRA opportunities.

ABA member banks have access to these products which also include a pre-purchase Municipal Credit Profile (MCP) and an email alert system to notify users of any significant changes in the institution’s municipal holdings or exposure to new credit developments.
