When ABA announced in October 2007, that it would provide Frontline Compliance Training for free to ABA member banks, American State Bank was under contract with another organization, paying for online regulatory compliance courses. The Bank began a cross-departmental review of ABA's course content, with participation by the compliance area, in May 2008 and in February 2009 decided to not renew their existing training contract and made the switch to ABA Frontline Compliance Training.
