ABA is pleased to make available to banks a selection of lovely commemorative coins. The quantities required to purchase are small enough for most banks to buy and have on hand for customers seeking unique gifts for family, friends, and business partners.
PRESIDENTIAL $1 COINS
 The ABA Coin Program offers Presidential $1 Coins in Sets and Rolls. The program is similar to the State Quarter program in that it will continue until every subject is honored. The program will honor four Presidents per year on the obverse, featuring one for three months before moving on to the next President in the order they served. If a President or former President is still alive, they will not be honored with a Presidential Dollar Coin. No former President will be honored within two years of his death. Any exception to this requirement would require new legislation.
 The reverse of the coins features the Statue of Liberty, the inscription "$1" and the inscription "United States of America." In addition, inscribed along the edge, will be the year of issuance of the coin and the legends "E Pluribus Unum" and "In God We Trust." The specifications will be identical to those used for the current "Golden Dollar." This marks the first time since the St. Gaudens Double Eagle that the United States has issued a coin with edge lettering for circulation.
State Quarters from the earlier years have dramatically increased in value. You will want to get in on the ground floor of this program. Please check back frequently for updates.
STATE QUARTERS AND STATE QUARTER SETS
Its beginning in 1999 and continuing through 2008, the U.S. Treasury Department will mint five different coins each year. A special coin will be struck honoring each state in the order they joined the United States of America.
 These State Coin Collector Sets are both beautiful and informative. Each coin collector set will contain the coin honoring the state, many interesting facts about the state, as well as photographs of the natural beauty and points of interest in the state.
 The Five Quarters Uncirculated Sets are special sets featuring all five of the quarters issued in a single year and are available for each year of issue.
This is a great way for your customers to be able to acquire a complete collection of the coins and learn about every state in the United States at the same time. Following is a complete list indicating when each state coin collector set will become available.
