WASHINGTON — The American Bankers Association’s professional development training content on bank trust, estate planning and philanthropy has been adopted by SunGard, one of the world’s leading software and technology services companies, as part of its Wealth Management University, a web-based learning management platform.

Wealth Management University provides financial services companies with an educational and professional development program for training employees.  It offers users the ability to earn continuing education credits for professional designations and delivers product training on SunGard’s® wealth management solutions.  The addition of ABA’s content allows bank trust officers to expand their education online through multi-level courses on estate planning, investment management, trust administration, fiduciary law and income tax, discretionary distributions, managing trust accounts, financial planning and life insurance and annuities from one trust industry source.
