    WASHINGTON — Facing a new regulatory landscape and an uncertain economy, hundreds of community bank CEOs will convene in San Diego to learn from top industry experts and share solutions with their peers at the American Bankers Association National Conference for Community Bankers, Feb. 20-23.

    Designed by bankers for bankers, this year’s conference promises to offer ideas that CEOs can take back to their banks and put to work immediately. More than 20 informational sessions will include topics such as:

    • The Federal Regulatory and Enforcement Environment Post Dodd-Frank;
    • Using Social Media to Enhance Your Communications Strategy;
    • Economic Outlook: Examining the Impact of White House and Congressional Decisions;
    • Selecting and Marketing a Mobile Banking Service;
    • Getting More Performance out of Existing Staff; and
    • Diversify Your Revenue Stream through Bank Insurance.

    General Sessions will feature keynote speakers such as: Daniel Pink, author of Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us; Roxanne Emmerich, bestselling author and performance transformation agent; and Eric Saperston, critically acclaimed film director and producer of The Journey.

    Attendees will also hear from ABA’s new president and CEO, Gov. Frank Keating, and ABA Chairman Steve Wilson, who will address the association’s continued advocacy of community bank issues. Wilson is chairman and CEO of LCNB National Bank in Lebanon, Ohio.

    A series of special breakout sessions will include representatives from each of the federal banking agencies who will update attendees on the latest in examination focus, industry trends and regulatory developments.

    Networking opportunities include CEO roundtable discussions, a directors peer exchange and dine-around dinners. A sold-out exhibition hall featuring top providers of bank services will be featured throughout the conference.

    Registration for the conference is $1,095 for ABA Members and $2,295 for non-members. For more information call 1-800-BANKERS or visit www.aba.com.
