Curriculum
Over one six-day session, students receive a solid foundation in the technical and interpersonal skills required in the trust, investment, financial planning and estate planning industry. The world-class program includes the latest strategies in:

Tuition Fees $2,195 ABA Members, $3,195 Non-Members Fees include tuition, most meals, instructional materials and a certificate of completion. Housing is an additional $169/night (+ tax) paid directly to the Emory Conference Center Hotel upon checkout
Admission Criteria ABA recommends students have at least one year of experience in the trust industry.
Graduation Criteria To receive a diploma, students must attend all classes and pass a multiple choice question examination at the conclusion of the six-day session.
ICB Accreditation The ABA National Trust School curriculum has been approved for CTFA (Certified Trust & Financial Advisor) and CFP (Certified Financial Planner) continuing education credits. Click here for a breakdown of continuing education credits. Note: MCLE credits are applied for after the conclusion of the program.
ICB CTFA Exam** The ABA National Trust School provides preparation for the Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB) Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) exam. The exam is offered onsite the last day of the school. Please contact ICB for details or visit the ICB website.
**Please note: ABA Trust Schools address the critical knowledge areas assessed by the CTFA examination, but both ABA and the ICB emphasize that completion of this school alone does not guarantee CTFA examination success. Professional experience and application of the knowledge are important factors as well.
