Tuition Information

ABA Financial Statement Analysis for Lenders
April 17 - 18, 2010
For the ABA Member, the tuition is $745.
For the Non-member, the tuition is $845.

ABA National Commercial Lending School
April 18 - 24, 2010
For the ABA Member, the tuition is $2,195.
For the Non-member, the tuition is $3,195.

ABA Graduate Commercial Lending School

Tuition includes - A breakfast buffet (for those staying at the Radisson Hotel), lunch, and all pre-session and class materials. You will be on your own for dinner.

Cancellation & Refund Policy - An administrative fee of $300 will be charged for all cancellations. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the session are subject to a charge of equal to 50% of the total tuition fee. All cancellations must be made in writing and directed to the Project Manager.

Accommodations

Accommodations are not included in tuition and participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own housing. 

The ABA has arranged for discounted rates at the Radisson Hotel Central Dallas.  Call 214-750-6060 or 800-333-3333 to make your hotel reservations directly with the hotel and mention you will be attending the ABA Commercial Lending Schools. Or, you can go online to www.radisson.com/aba and make your hotel reservations.

Reservations must be made at least 30 days prior to the start of the program in order to receive the discounted room rate. After this date rooms are subject to availability and prevailing rates will apply. All reservations must be guaranteed with a deposit equal to one night's stay. Valid Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover with number and expiration date are acceptable. If you do not have a major credit card, full payment for the first night is the required deposit within 10 days of making your reservation. Hotel check-in time is 3:00 pm and checkout time is 12:00 pm.

Airport Options

The two airports in the general area of Southern Methodist University are the Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport and Love Field Airport (regional airport).

Radisson Hotel Shuttle
The Radisson Hotel shuttle will take you to/from Love Field Airport.  Please call the Radisson at 214-750-6060 from baggage claim to request the shuttle.

Getting to Campus

We have arranged for the hotel shuttle to drop off and pick up at the SMU Campus. However the hotel is less than a mile from campus and is an easy walk.  The shuttle also will take guests anywhere within a five mile radius of the hotel for free.

Dress code

The dress is business casual. Be aware that you will be in air-conditioned rooms most of the time. It is suggested that you bring a sweater or jacket for cool classrooms or evenings.

Class Attendance

Attendance is mandatory for class each day.

This is a suggested list of things that may be helpful for your stay during the school session:

  • Calculator for class
  • Cell phone to communicate with your office
  • Small binder (to carry daily pages instead of entire notebook)
  • Umbrella
