MAXIMIZING CLAIMS RECOVERY 
(S) With the credit crisis looming over the business community, the need to capture liquidity from every possible source is paramount.   Against that backdrop, clients will be under severe pressures to maximize claims recovery.  Similarly, insurers are facing mounting losses arising from increased securities claims, bankruptcies and soaring defense expenses.  In this session, a prominent policyholders' counsel and a leading coverage attorney square off over the issues that you'd expect to hear in the claims recovery dialogue.  This should be a colorful discussion of the issues that insurance professionals from all angles (brokers, policyholders and insurers) are likely to confront over the coming years.

                        Clearly, economic events and the November election will greatly influence  
                        legislation and regulation that will dramatically alter the financial services

                        industry's future for years to come.  We will be dealing with the restructuring
                        of the entire mortgage finance system; changes in the structure and role of

development, and amusing anecdotes. Author Larry Goanos will share

many of these interesting and amusing stories he gathered while interviewing

over 400 people for the book and, in this interactive session, encourage
