From the Xerox Newsroom Xerox Caps 2009 with Outstanding Achievement Award for IT Friendliness NORWALK, Conn., 11 Jan. 2010 -- Wrapping up an award-winning year, Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) closed 2009 with an Outstanding Achievement Award for IT Friendliness from Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI). In December, the independent testing lab recognized Xerox for its commitment to technological innovation and the emphasis the company places on delivering the best technology to all customers. Overall, Xerox won more than 350 awards globally in 2009 in recognition of innovative technology, reliable products and a leading services offering. In 2009, the industry's top analysts, research firms and technology publications all praised Xerox for its commitment to continued development of innovative products. Many of these products and services were developed using Design for Lean Six Sigma, a technique used by Xerox's Lean Six Sigma team that focuses on the engineering side of operations by improving efficiencies and reducing costs related to the design and delivery of new technology.
