ABA ENDORSES MONEY CONCEPTS INTERNATIONAL
Wealth management firm provides turn-key business offering

WASHINGTON, March 3 – The American Bankers Association has endorsed Money Concepts International Inc., a wealth management and financial planning firm based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.  Money Concepts provides a business model for the banking community that enhances customer relationships, attracts new customers, increases income and adds a new profit center while bringing "off balance sheet assets" under management.

The Corporation for American Banking, an affiliate of ABA, conducted a review of Money Concepts, evaluating a range of factors including product functionality, customer service, and management strength and bank client feedback.   Money Concepts was previously endorsed by America's Community Bankers (ACB) Business Partners.  As a result of ABA's merger with ACB on December 1, 2007, the ABA will continue offering the program to the expanded membership base following CAB's review.

"We're pleased to endorse this quality program that can enhance our members' customer relationships as well as their bottom line," said John C. Wolff, president of the Corporation for American Banking. "The ABA endorsement signifies our confidence that the services of Money Concepts have been researched, tested and approved by bankers to support the industry's needs."

Money Concepts provides a turn-key business model, true ownership of the business, independent and non-proprietary products, integrated technology platform and staff training and education through the Money Concepts University.  The firm was founded in 1979, and its concepts and the acceptance of their ideas have resulted in dynamic growth with more than 700 offices worldwide.

"We are proud of the endorsement and are honored to bear the ABA seal," said Denis Walsh, president and CEO of Money Concepts.  "We look forward to working with member banks to implement our wealth management program."

The American Bankers Association brings together banks of all sizes and charters into one association. ABA works to enhance the competitiveness of the nation's banking industry and strengthen America's economy and communities. Its members – the majority of which are banks with less than $125 million in assets – represent over 95 percent of the industry's $12.7 trillion in assets and employ over 2 million men and women.
